"My role on staff is to keep the pathway of our pastoral staff clear, so that they can do what only they can do. I assist in getting things done (and communicated) efficiently, professionally and effectively. I am passionate about taking care of the details that help our church family view our church staff as trustworthy, unified and moving forward together."
I am married to Dorran, who is the love of my life. We have two boys: Aaron and Luke. I grew up in a family that was committed to being active in church. Church life has always been a part of who I am. In fact, I can’t remember a time when I didn’t know of God. This makes it very easy for me to continually put my faith in Jesus, even as an adult.
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! (Galatians 5:22-23)
Worship and Family Pastor
"I absolutely love creating worship experiences that are ultimately a SIGN-POST pointing people to trust, celebrate and share Jesus in every area of their life. I'm also passionate about investing my life into making next generation disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus."
I am married to Ali, my high school sweetheart and we have three adorable children: Rylee, Judah and Abel. Ali and I were a part of planting several churches in Greensboro and around the mountains of North Carolina. We are happy that God has called us to serve alongside the people of Radiant Life where we plan to grow roots.
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. (Colossians 2:6-7)
“I have a passion for God and His little children! I believe that rooting and strengthening families, in Christ, is the ultimate way to serve Jesus. Would you consider joining my team as we point children and families to trust Jesus?”
Heather’s role is to lead THE GROVE (Radiant Life’s Children’s Ministry). She joined the staff team in early 2015, after 6 years of serving as a key volunteer. Heather, her husband, Ron, and their 5 kids (MattaRae, Jonah, Anna, Ellie, and Landry) were a part of the original team that started Radiant Life. Heather and Ron met at UNCC and were married in 1999.
“Go the the ant you sluggard, consider its ways and be wise.” (Proverbs 6:6)
I know it’s a bit off the beaten path, but I believe this speaks to working together for the good of the church. We cannot do it alone, but with faith and the help of brothers and sisters in Christ, we can do great things!
"I think it is an honor to shepherd people, hear their stories, help them find their calling and walk with them as they take steps of faith toward Jesus."
Chris started Radiant Life Fellowship in 2009 with his wife, Jenny, and a handful of families with a vision to lead people to follow Jesus. He is a communicator, a connector, and a servant leader, who brings years of ministry experience to the table. Chris has followed Jesus since he was nine, loves his family deeply, and loves the people in the Lake Norman community. Chris and Jenny have been married for over 25 years and have four children: Cole, Noah, Sara and Jake.
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)
Marriage/Parent Enrichment Pastor
"Parents are the spiritual leaders of the home. I want to ensure that all parents have access to tools that will give them confidence and courage to lead their family toward Biblical maturity in Christ. The best gift all parents can give to their children is a healthy marriage."
I wear a lot of titles: wife, mom, friend, sister, minister. Chris and I were married in 1993 and have served together, in the local church, our whole married life. We have four kids: Cole, Noah, Sara and Jake. I am a native of North Carolina. I grew up in Rutherfordton, NC, where my parents still reside. I love the beach and I pull for NC State.
Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you your heart’s desires. (Psalm 34:7)
